Why I teach
As a lifelong student, I have been in many classrooms where I have felt supported, seen, and encouraged and I have thrived in these settings and watched those around me thrive as well. My goal as a teacher, whether that is yoga, dance, or fitness, is to create an environment where my students can come to the space exactly as they are in that moment and feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
I believe in the power of physical movement as a key component of physical, mental, and spiritual health. I’ve been fortunate as a dancer to develop a strong connection with my body, and I hope to help others cultivate that same connection within themselves. I aim to create a space where my students feel safe to explore themselves, safe to breathe and move freely without judgement, and safe to heal how they need.
